Hey there! I’m Mohammed Ali
A seasoned Project Manager with over 16 years in IT, I’ve worn many hats – leadership, strategic planning, project management, business analysis, web development, change management, and all kinds of technical support. Currently, I call Canada home.
My career journey has been an adventure across industries – from BPO and telecommunications to mining, and now the public sector. Along the way, I also ran a successful stint as a freelance web developer, crafting websites, managing hosting, SEO, and social media marketing for clients in hospitality, solar energy, chemicals, home inspection, IT services, and construction.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India, and a Master’s in Information Systems from South East Technological University, Ireland.
When I’m not managing projects, you’ll probably find me on a cricket pitch – I’m a proud medium-fast bowler and have played at school and university levels. I also have a creative side; as a kid, I loved drawing and painting, even winning competitions organized by UNICEF and International Film Festivals.
My biggest strength? A loving wife, two amazing boys, and a beautiful girl. Outside of work, I’m passionate about science, technology, airplanes, and cars. I’m a foodie, a traveler, and firmly believe that airplanes are humanity’s greatest invention – communications come second. Everything else? We could live without.
Airplanes inspire me. Think about it: loaded with passengers, luggage, and fuel, they defy gravity, navigate turbulence, storms, and lightning, and still reach their destination – only to start again. That’s life in a nutshell. Keep going, no matter what comes your way.
Cheers!
